CSC Series
COME HOME TO THE SAFETY AND COMFORT OF SEALED COMBUSTION TECHNOLOGY. QUALITY AND RELIABILITY YOU CAN COUNT ON.
Technology Designed for Your Peace of Mind.
Sealed combustion technology differs from the traditional combustion process in several ways. It separates room air from combustion air, thereby keeping already heated room air from leaving the room - saving you hundreds of dollars in energy costs over time. It also prevents any airborne boiler room contaminants from wood shops, stored cleaning agents, etc., from fouling the combustion process. And because it brings air in directly from the outside, it insures an adequate supply of air to the boiler and eliminates carbon monoxide-related problems. Sealed combustion is quieter, too. And for families with small children, it offers an added measure of safety by keeping little fingers away from hot surfaces.
Through the Wall.
The CSC series boiler can be installed practically anywhere - living room, bedroom, closet or basement - because it can be placed adjacent to any exterior wall and vented directly to the outdoors. This make is a convenient and cost-effective choice for a variety of applications. New or existing home. Older homes where the chimney has deteriorated to the point where it presents a potential hazard. Or when converting a home from electric heat to a hot water baseboard system. Your professional installer will advise you on the most desirable placement in terms of comfort and operational efficiency.
87% Energy Efficiency.
There are different ways to achieve efficiency. You can select a boiler that uses highly sophisticated, trouble-prone electronic components or exotic, unproven cooling towers. Or you can invest in a boiler design that incorporates simple, proven, heat transfer technology that effectively matches cast iron heating surface to gas input, resulting in greater efficiency - as does the Columbia Boiler CSC Series. In fact, the CSC offers the highest cast iron to Btu heating capacity ratio for 87% efficient boilers in the industry! And it has fewer mechanical parts, which means less money spent on repairs and maintenance.
Lower Home Heating Costs.
Once your new boiler is installed, you'll start seeing a payback almost immediately via lower home heating energy costs, especially if your new is a replacement for an electric system or an old less efficient gas model. You may also be eligible for utility rebates, depending on your geographic location and energy provider.
